Very interesting!

With strong characterization, chilling description and realistic dialog, MJ Ware weaves an interesting Harry Potter parody story that has elements of classic children’s literature, yet plenty of unique twists and turns that make it a fresh new tale.

A classic children’s novel…updated and kept moving with strong visuals and more dialogue than exposition. If you want to spend time with some of the most warm-hearted characters ever to be found between the covers of a book, this novel is certainly for you.

Here’s a story about a boy who loves to tinker with machines. He meets a girl and her grandfather while working the clocks at the train station. An old machine that once belonged to Hugo’s father unlocks the key to a glorious past…or the discovery of Hugo’s thievery.

I thought that since this appeared to be a children’s book, I had no business reading it at all. But I did and was struck by how fascinating the pictures looked and how the story of a French film pioneer was incorporated into the story. This book truly deserves its 5-star rating from me.
