Growing Up on Route 66Growing Up on Route 66 by Michael Lund

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

In the story “Growing Up on Route 66”, a man recalls his early life in the 1950’s, after World War II ended and the baby boomers were born. The narrator speakers about his life in a small town in the Midwest, which is located on the famous Route 66. He deals with growing up and sex, which was the biggest mystery of the 1950’s. I consider this book to be an enjoyable venture into a time a place that has long been forgotten.
