2012 Entertainment Review

So, in the sense that we have this review blog, I say that we’re going to review some of the things that I have put on the end-of-the-year report…

Best movies:

  1. The Avengers: If 2011 was known as the year of the superhero movies, then 2012 was known as the year of the Avengers. It was all totally worth it just to wait for this movie.
  2. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey: aren’t you glad that Peter Jackson did this movie?
  3. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2: It’s hard to say goodbye to the Twilight Saga, but it went out with a BANG!
  4. Snow White & the Huntsman: much better than Mirror Mirror
  5. The Hunger Games: it was OK, but it’s no Twilight
  6. The Dark Knight Rises: prefect ending to the Dark Knight Trilogy
  7. The Amazing Spider-Man: I’m actually glad this got rebooted
  8. Skyfall: who doesn’t love James Bond

Worst Movies:

  1. Mirror Mirror: Worst movie about Snow White ever!
  2. Men in Black III: was this movie even necessary?
  3. Brave: Not another Disney princess movie!
  4. Ice Age: Continental Drift: unnecessary and unneeded
  5. Battleship: how dare they!
  6. Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted: They should have stopped at #2

Best books to read:

  1. Artemis Fowl: The Last Guardian
  2. The Mark of Athena
  3. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel
  4. City of Lost Souls
  5. The Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy
  6. The Serpent’s Shadow
  7. Cloud Atlas
  8. Life of Pi

Best books to put into the fireplace

  • The Casual Vacancy

Pop Culture

  1. Gangnam Style dance
  2. The Trololol Song
  3. saying the word “SWAG”
  4. The end of the Twilight movies
  5. Vampire love triangle (in which Kris chose Rob over Rupert)
  6. Troublemaking Prince Harry
