Chasing Vermeer (After Words)Chasing Vermeer by Blue Balliett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

When a valuable painting by the famous Dutch painter Vermeer is stolen, two brave children set out to find out who the culprit is and find the missing painting.

Well, this seems to play out a bit like the Da Vinci Code (but without a bunch of things that were in the Da Vinci Code), but will I say that I enjoyed the book?

Highly recommended for middle school children, or those who can’t handle Da Vinci Code.
