Ok, so you’re a normal kid and the next thing you know, you’re swept up into a world that you don’t understand with strange powers to boot. That’s the story about a kid named Charlie Bone.

Summary:

Charlie Bone is nothing more than a normal little boy without a care in the world…until he develops a strange endowment of hearing people’s voices in pictures and paintings and gets shipped off to a strange school called Bloor‘s Academy, where he meets some strange children just like him and he must outsmart the Bloor family and his own evil aunts and grandmother to rescue a friend and reunite her with her aunt.

My Review: A very interesting book. I enjoyed it and it was easier to grasp than Harry Potter.

My recomendation: Anyone looking to recover from Harry Potter should read this book.

My rating: ****
